Paul Bacosa Studio is a full service, digital photography studio that specializes in High School Seniors, Family Portraits, Weddings, School Portraits, Business Portraits, Sports Photography, Commercial Photography and Passport Photographs.

Paul Bacosa Studio was established in 1966 in San Jose, California. Paul got his start with Tony Rose Photography while majoring in Photojournalism at San Jose State University. Paul soon joined the William Willis Studio and eventually bought out his partner in 1966. Paul specialized in school portraits and still retains his very first school from 1966, Bellarmine College Preparatory. Still active in the photo studio, he takes great pleasure in seeing his business consistently exceed customers' expectations

In 1989 his son, Paul Alan, joined the business to provide a dynamic contribution. "Al" attended San Jose State University and received degrees in Economics and Administration of Justice. He has attended numerous photography seminars and has developed his own style and personal touch. Al is the main photographer at the studio and has photographed over 6,000 Senior Portraits, over 300 Weddings, and numerous families in the bay area. He also has photographed dozens of pre-schools, elementary schools and little leagues over the last 14 years. One of Al's greatest gifts is his ability to interact with clients of all ages. He has learned to create a comfortable photo environment, which in turn allows the customer to feel at ease while their picture is taken.

In 1995 Pam "Aunt Pam" Bacosa joined the family business. She now manages the entire office, handling all orders and tracking the status of these orders. She is the first voice you will hear when you call Paul Bacosa Studio.

In 2005 Mike Mortensen joined the team. With a degree in Advertising from San Jose State, he brings years of experience in Marketing, Advertising and Graphic Design. Mike is the secondary photographer and specializes in portraits for real estate agents, high school seniors, proms and sports teams. His background in Graphic Design allows the studio to offer many custom digital products for our clients.
